How classroom data moves through the system
Capture
Teachers record audio on devices they control during class. No live streaming is required.
Analyze
After class, the audio is uploaded to CoGuide's secure servers. Metrics and an optional transcript are generated.
Retain
Raw audio is deleted once analysis is complete. Only derived metrics are stored to support trends and coaching.

CoGuide is built with student data privacy in mind and is designed to support districts as they meet their obligations under FERPA, COPPA, SOPPA, and related laws.
Admin controls you can tune to your district
- Turn transcript generation on or off per school or network
- Decide which metrics are visible to teachers versus coaches and leaders
- Set retention periods for metrics and transcripts
- Limit who can export data and which export formats are allowed
- Manage access with SSO and role-based permissions
